The Atlantic Provinces Economic Council releases employer guide for hiring internationally-trained workers

The Atlantic Provinces Economic Council (APEC) has released a guide to help businesses understand the value and processes related to hiring internationally-trained workers who are already in Canada and overseas.

The guide features The Prince George Hotel as an example of “good organizational practice” related to helping workers settle and offering support to workers’ families.

The guide contains helpful checklists, resources and lists of community resources available to employers and their workers in the Atlantic region. The employer guide can be downloaded from the APEC web site.
