Canadians view immigration in a positive light, according to transatlantic survey

A public opinion survey designed to track public attitudes towards immigration on both sides of the Atlantic revealed that Canadians view immigration in a positive light. The views expressed by Canadians were contrary to most of the prevailing trends in other countries.

According to the Toronto Star, the findings of the survey reveal that public opinion in Canada is at odds with ongoing trends in Canadian immigration policy.
