Many academic and experiential projects associated with the regular curriculum are tourism related. This is a great way to jumpstart your career in tourism!

Service Canada Summer Work Experience Program

Under the Youth Employment Strategy, the Summer Work Experience Program creates summer employment opportunities for secondary and post-secondary students, and supports the operation of Service Canada Centres for Youth where they may also find a job. These jobs provide students with the opportunity to acquire skills, gain valuable work experience and help finance their return to school.

Service Canada Centres for Youth (SCCY)

SCCYs are helping students and employers across Canada with their summer employment needs. SCCYs provide a variety of services, free of charge, to help students improve their job search skills and acquire meaningful employment. They also help employers find enthusiastic summer help.

Association of Canadian Community Colleges (ACCC)

The ACCC interacts with federal departments and agencies on members' behalf and links college capabilities to national industries.
