emerit National Occupational Standards are manuals that describe the knowledge, skills and attitudes necessary to be considered competent in an occupation. emerit standards were developed by tourism professionals for the tourism industry. They are now the most recognized standards in the Canadian tourism industry. Educators and trainers use these standards as a basis for designing training curriculum.

Canada CHRIE

Canada CHRIE is the Canadian chapter of the International Council on Hotel, Restaurant, and Institutional Education. CHRIE is the global advocate of hospitality and tourism education for schools, colleges, and universities offering programs in hotel and restaurant management, foodservice management and culinary arts.
