Workplace Matters

Upcoming Research on Tourism Trends in Canada

In conjunction with Ipsos, the CTHRC has launched an online advisory panel, Workplace Matters. The panel was developed to help tourism businesses meet the needs of their customers and employees.

This online panel acts as a two way communication vehicle between the CTHRC and the owners, operators and hr personnel who work in the tourism sector. The results of these surveys are published on this webpage and in our quarterly panellist newsletter. Panellists are emailed brief surveys on various business practices and human resource issues every six weeks. The results of these surveys help shed light on issues and challenges impacting tourism businesses so that the Council can better identify and respond to the legislative, operational and occupational issues that impact the industry.

Members from all of the industry groups in Canada’s tourism sector are represented here. To become a member, please visit http://www.join.workplacematterspanel.ca and complete the short profile survey.

We know your time is valuable and you may respond to as many or as few surveys as you wish. In appreciation of your time, for each survey you complete your name will be entered in a prize draw. By regularly drawing on the opinions of sector stakeholders, the CTHRC can ensure it is the collective voice of Canada’s tourism sector that the CTHRC communicates to government, associations and industry.

The results of past surveys can be accessed through the links below.
