TIAC’s National Awards for Tourism Excellence

The CTHRC Awards for Excellence in Human Resources Development are part of a series of awards presented at a gala event during the Annual Conference of the Tourism Industry Association of Canada. The awards were developed in 1993 to recognize and foster Canadian tourism excellence.

Awarded nominees represent businesses that have demonstrated a commitment to professionalism in the Canadian tourism workforce through professional recognition, training and excellence in human resource management. The recipient is dedicated to achieving enhanced results through dedication to training and HR development.

HAC’s Hall of Fame Awards of Excellence

HAC’s The Council sponsors the Human Resources Award as part of The Hotel Association of Canada (HAC) Awards Program that was developed in order to proudly recognize those HAC members (individuals, companies or properties) that have demonstrated significant accomplishments, exemplary leadership and tireless commitment to Canada's lodging industry. The goal of HAC's Awards Program is to reward strong standards in the lodging industry that will enable this country to remain competitive.

Given for programs/individuals that develop a climate conducive to new and/or repeat business, create goodwill among guests, provide special services, reverse negative public relations situations or effectively solve guest complaints.
