Tourism HR Canada Speaking at International Aboriginal Tourism Conference

Tourism HR Canada is proud to be speaking at the 2016 International Aboriginal Tourism Conference (IATC), hosted by the Aboriginal Tourism Association of Canada (ATAC) December 12–14 in Sydney, Nova Scotia. Delegates from First nations, Inuit and Métis communities will be in attendance, along with representatives from global Indigenous tourism organizations.

The theme of this year’s conference is “Building Effective Partnerships for Indigenous Tourism”, and workshops, panels, and keynotes will focus on strategies for building relationships and partnerships with governments and non-governmental organizations, tourism marketing organizations, tourism operators, and industry leaders. Presenters will share Aboriginal tourism industry research and marketing strategies, and present ideas to support growing tourism program capacity for First Nations communities.

Tourism HR Canada President Philip Mondor will deliver a keynote address on “Partnerships in the Tourism Industry” and developing capacity in First Nations organizations and communities. He joins an impressive list of participants from national and international tourism organizations including Destination Canada, the Tourism Industry Association of Canada, the Tourism Industry Association of Nova Scotia, the World Indigenous Tourism Alliance, the Aboriginal Tourism Association of Canada, and many more.
