Alberta suspends two fast-track immigration programs for foreign workers

This week, the Alberta government temporarily halted two of five programs that make up the Alberta Immigration Nominee Program (AINP). The two programs suspended this week includes a family program (that allowed foreign workers already in Canada to sponsor relatives to immigrate to Alberta for work), as well as a program that involved U.S. visa holders.
