Registration Now Open for 9th Annual Tourism HR Forum
September 01 2010
If you develop or manage people for the tourism sector, then the 9th Annual Tourism Human Resources Forum is for you!
The Canadian Tourism Human Resource Council (CTHRC)’s Tourism HR Forum is an annual highlight for tourism professionals, corporate trainers, association representatives, educators, and students from across Canada. It provides a valuable opportunity to discuss and find solutions to current and future HR issues that face the Canadian tourism sector.
This year’s forum is taking place from November 15 - 17, 2010 at the Edmonton Marriott at River Cree Resort in Edmonton, Alberta. The Forum, entitled “FRESH Ideas: New Opportunities - Developing a Dynamic Workforce” will provide insight into meeting challenges around labour shortages by tackling topics such as the use of technology for recruitment and retention and the advantages of becoming an Employer of Choice.
Join keynote speakers Nancy Greene Raine (Canada’s Female Athlete of the 20th Century, Entrepreneur and Senator), Ferio Pugliese (WestJet), Jesse Hirsh (Broadcaster, Researcher, Internet Guru), and Jim Knight (Hard Rock International) for this engaging learning and networking opportunity.
From now until September 27, take advantage of the Early Bird registration rate of $495.00. Visit the HR Forum website for more information or to register.
