Nova Scotia Tourism Human Resource Council (NSTHRC)


The Nova Scotia Tourism Human Resource Council (NSTHRC) is a provincial sector council that promotes and enhances professionalism in the Nova Scotia tourism industry.  Founded in 1989, the mandate of the Nova Scotia Tourism Human Resource Council is to undertake activities that will enhance the Tourism Sector’s performance in the economy and the global marketplace. 

The mission of the Council is to develop a skilled and professional workforce for the Nova Scotia Tourism Sector.  NSTHRC is directed by Industry leaders representing sector and regional industry associations, government agencies, educators and industry at large.
