Canada CHRIE

Canada CHRIE is a key stakeholder and member of the CTHRC and works closely with the Council on academic affairs as well as the Annual HR Forum.

Canada CHRIE is the Canadian chapter of the International Council on Hotel, Restaurant, and Institutional Education, founded in 1946. CHRIE is the global advocate of hospitality and tourism education for schools, colleges, and universities offering programs in hotel and restaurant management, foodservice management, and culinary arts.

In recent years, International CHRIE's focus has expanded and its mission has evolved, making it a marketplace that facilitates exchange of information, ideas, research, products and services related to education, training and resource development for the hospitality and tourism industry.

Canada CHRIE strives to unite educators, industry executives and associations and serve as the hospitality and tourism education network.
